Bio
Rosie Winn is an accomplished figurative artist specialising in expressive, humanistic drawings. Growing up in a creative household, she was surrounded by art and literature, with her father an artist and her mother a writer. This rich environment inspired her passion for drawing from an early age, leading to a lifelong commitment to visual storytelling.

Rosie studied at Norwich University of the Arts, Central St Martins, and the University of the West of England, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Drawing & Applied Arts in 2008. Rosie became a member of the Norwich 20 Group (2013), a respected body of over 70 professional artist and has since established herself in the Norfolk art scene, earning recognition for her distinctive style and thought-provoking pieces.

Her work has been showcased in prominent exhibitions, including Mall Galleries in London, The Gallery in Holt, and Oxo Tower in London, solidifying her reputation as a leading Norfolk-based contemporary artist.

Artistic Vision & Style
Rosie’s drawings celebrate human connection, movement, and self-discovery. Through figurative compositions, she explores the place of the individual within the global community, reflecting themes of identity, transition, and emotion.

Her pyrography technique—using a wood-burning pen on paper or wood—creates striking, seared lines that emphasise purity of form. This method encourages an economy of line, stripping away non-essentials to reveal the essence of human expression.

Her drawings capture life’s impermanence, portraying the fleeting yet significant moments that shape personal narratives.
